Ces boucles d'oreilles intitulées "Curula" ont été imaginées comme un véritable talisman, un petit objet chargé de sens, de géométrie et d’histoire.
Le motif central puise sa force dans l’architecture et les symboles emblématiques de l’art alsacien. Il réinterprète les lignes d'un colombage traditionnel d’une maison de Riquewihr, où se dessine la célèbre chaise curule. Ce symbole ancestral, croisement de courbes et de contre-courbes, évoque le prestige, l'équilibre et la structure.
En retravaillant ce motif graphique, je l'ai transformé en une armure délicate, une figure protectrice aux accents baroques et intemporels.
La chaleur texturée du laiton vient ici enlacer les pierres choisies : de profondes améthystes. Cette gemme fait un écho vibrant au bassin alsacien, terre historique de minéraux. Reconnue pour sa capacité à apaiser l’esprit, à clarifier les pensées et à stimuler l'intuition, l'améthyste apporte sa couleur mystique et sa lumière changeante à la force dorée du laiton.
Porter ces boucles d’oreilles, c’est emporter avec soi une part de tradition, de patrimoine et de protection… un petit fragment d’Alsace réinventé.

These earrings, entitled "Curula", were envisioned as a true talisman—a small object imbued with meaning, geometry, and history.
The central motif draws its strength from the architecture and symbolic heritage of Alsatian art. It reinterprets the timber-framed lines of a traditional house in Riquewihr, where the famous curule chair silhouette takes shape. This ancestral symbol, a crossing of organic curves and counter-curves, evokes prestige, balance, and structure.
By reworking this graphic pattern, I transformed it into a delicate armor—a protective figure with baroque and timeless accents.
The textured warmth of brass gracefully embraces the chosen stones: deep amethysts. This gemstone strikes a vibrant chord with the Alsatian basin, a historical land of minerals. Renowned for its ability to soothe the mind, clarify thoughts, and stimulate intuition, amethyst brings its mystical color and shifting light to the golden strength of brass.
To wear these earrings is to carry a piece of tradition, heritage, and protection—a reinvented fragment of Alsace.
